Google announces Chrome OS

Google is finally doing it, they’re releasing their own Operating System. It was annoucned today that Google will be making a Open Souce Operating System that will power netbooks to full-size Dekstop Computer System. The operating system will be capable of running on x86 (that includes Intel Atom) and ARM chips. Google is ucrrently working with a number of OEM manufacturers and it’ll initially appear on a select number of netbooks coming sometime in the second half of 2010. You can already find a lot of Google’s applications on their “Google Apps” page.
