Hmong Teenager Shoots Himself

“A St. Paul teenager who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest on Friday night accidentally shot himself, police said Saturday.
Although “the investigation is not yet fully complete,” police are not looking for suspects, said St. Paul police Sgt. Paul Schnell.
Police responded to a report of a shooting about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Lafond Avenue and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to Regions Hospital and remained in critical but stable condition Saturday, Schnell said.
Family identified the boy as Neng Xiong. Police were not releasing his name.”
